This medium 8cm wooden heart has been hand-carved and gilded in red metal leaf.

All of Emily Readett-Bayley's products are handmade by crafts people working in small village co-operatives in Indonesia. Emily works closely with the people and all of the sources of the natural products they use are traced. Emily also studies the skills of the people and tries to utilise these rather than force people to change the traditional ways in which they work.
