This ring has been handmade with a mixture of oxidized silver which makes an interesting contrast with the 9ct gold disc and tiny freshwater pearl.

The Apple Blossom range came from Malcolm's desire to change the way that he worked as previously his designs were produced using mass production methods. With this collection he wanted to go back to basics, so designed a collection that was entirely handmade, meaning that no two pieces would be identical as the hand forging process does not allow this.

His designs are based on the natural forms of plants and by reducing the shapes to roughly circular and linear, it still retains its organic theme, but at the some time has a graphic quality. Made in fine silver and with occasional highlights of 9ct gold, there is a feeling of delicacy like blossom on trees in the springtime.
