Our beautiful range of kitchen implements from Naturally Med is made from olive wood, including this spatula, ideal for cooking, frying and gathering up sticky cake mix! Each one has a unique pattern from the grain of this Mediterranean tree. They are lightweight and such a pleasure to use, as well as being eminently practical, since the natural oil content of the olive wood kills bacteria. They are also very durable and will last a lifetime if you care for them (see instructions below).

All of these products are made from the wood of trees which no longer produce fruit, and trees are continually being replanted by this ethical company.

Maintenance:
hand wash only
occasionally coat with olive oil to prevent the wood from drying out
do not leave soaking in water or exposed to heat or sunshine
