This colourful little hand-painted tin tortoise is made from recycled tin cans by the five Mukankha brothers who handcraft each creature. They use only snips, pliers and hammer to create each creature.

This item is fairly traded with the artists in Zimbabwe, helping to provide stable employment & basic needs for many dependants in a time when unemployment and inflation are at unimaginable levels. This item includes a tag which has a picture of the artist who made it together with a short biography.
