Mark Veevers creates jewellery inspired by road markings, signage and symbols! His inspiration even goes so far as to use road paint as inlays in his rings. Marks wide rings are designed to appeal to both men and women. He combines mild steel with silver along with oxidisation creating organic and tactile pieces.
All Mark Veevers work is handmade to a high standard in his studio in Sheffield. He graduated from 'Sheffield City Polytechnic' in 1980 with a degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery and an additional award for craftsmanship and design from the 'Guardians of the Standard of Wrought Plate' in Sheffield setting up his own business a year later. As well as being a maker Mark also lectures in silversmithing. In 2007 he won the 'Lonmin' 'Platinum Design Innovations Award' for jewellery.
