Rosemary McGowan creates her quirky ceramics in the coastal village of Easkey, Co. Sligo. Rosie has been creating ceramic homewares for more than ten years. She has explored and experimented with many ceramics and pottery techniques to create her own unique style which is both decorative and functional. Rosie's keen interest in ceramics and craft began from an early age. The foundation for her knowledge and skills began in Thomastown Kilkenny where she attended the Craft Council's Pottery Skills Course. During this time Rosie learned how to work with clay and productive throw. She discovered a particular interest in the limitless possibilities when working with ceramics.
