Anna Ehrner, born 1948, joined Kosta Boda in 1974 and now has a studio at Kosta glassworks. An experimental stylist, Anna's glass designs are distinguished by simple yet powerful shapes and an ability to achieve shimmering displays by using colour in subtle ways. Veils of colour inside the glass have become something of a trademark in her art glass. Her best selling collections include Line, Contrast and Atoll ranges.

From 1957-61 Anna Ehrner studied Craft and Design at the National College of Arts in Stockholm, before travelling to the USA and Mexico to continue her education for another two years.

Her works have been exhibited at the National Museum of Stockholm, the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris and Rohsska Konstslojdsmuseet, Gothenburg. She has also won a number of awards for her glass collections including: winner of Swedish glass in 1983, Excellent Swedish Design for her Felicia Collection in 1992 and for her Epoque Collection in 1994.
