bluebell walk limited edition print by lee morris
This beautiful landscape of the Malvern Hills is by Malvern artist Lee Morris. The print features a stunning field of bluebells on the side of the Malverns.
Lee created this piece using a number of techniques. The background is created by spray painting layer upon layer of colour onto a large canvas. The foreground has been drawn by hand on transparent paper. The two elements are then scanned into Lee's computer and layered together. The print a limited edition of 50 and is printed on high quality paper.
Lee describes his work... "My style is very ethereal, pastel tones with a dream like quality. I get a lot of inspiration from my many walks on the Malvern hills where I can ponder life, thoughts and ideas. I have always been intrigued by the stars above us – the vastness, the beauty and mystery of it all which I think we can all harmonize with. I am especially fond of that time of the day when you get that lovely clear blue sky at dusk, when the stars begin to appear, trees becomes silhouettes and everything becomes a little more silent. I love all these senses you feel – a magical time and I wanted to bring these combinations together."
