This beautiful large glass wave features a flock of migrating of birds. The handcrafted fused glass piece features copper birds, and has the distinctive twice fired ombre effect with encased flecks of gold.
Stunning on its own, the piece really comes to life when you pop a little tea light behind to add some cosy to the evenings! It looks equally lovely sitting on a window sill, mantlepiece, coffee table, or anywhere else you would like to admire it. It also makes a marvellous pressie for any nature lover.
About Twice Fired Glass
Twice Fired Glass creations are crafted by up-and-coming glass artist Kate Park. Based in Leeds, the Twice Fired studio designs and produces exquisite contemporary handmade glass art inspired by the stunning Yorkshire landscape. Using the highest quality hand rolled kiln-glass, sheets are cut, assembled and cast, each one coldworked and fused in the kiln to create individually unique designs.
Due to the handmade nature of this work, the piece you receive may vary slightly to that pictured. However it will be just as marvellous!
