Hope & Glory silver and 9ct gold cufflinks by Nick Hubbard
These marvellous cufflinks by Nick Hubbard are the perfect gift for a patriotic Englishman (or lady!). The silver cufflinks have been hand etched with the words “Hope” and “Glory” and adorned with a 9ct “&”.
The silver cuffs are fixed on swivel backs so you can angle them against your shirt cuff. They are oxidised to bring out the detailing in the letters and stamped with Nick’s Brick and Bean mark.
This particular cufflink design dates back to the mid-1990s where Nick created a series of witty and whimsical cufflinks designs, many of which are still being made by the Brick and Bean team today.
About Nick Hubbard
This piece has been created by the Brick and Bean team in their studio in Staffordshire. The piece, an original design by the late, great Nick Hubbard has been created with care and attention to detail by Nick's apprentices. Nick Hubbard was one of Britain's most original, creative and quirky jewellers. His jewellery is amazing in its detail and intricacy; a figurative collection of oxidized silver pieces and charms bearing heartfelt and inspiring words and messages. Many lockets, brooches and rings have moving parts and small doors that open to reveal fine gold detail. Nick's work is highly collectable and once you've one piece you're sure to want many more!
