Sales Assistant - iapetus gallery, Worcester
12 month contract | Min 30 hours per week plus holiday and sickness cover | Must be willing and able to work Saturdays and Sundays
A minimum of one years experience in a relevant sector of retail/customer service.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, friendly & confident.
Happy to work any day of the week, including weekends.
Smart, punctual and conscientious.
Hard working, calm under pressure, plenty of initiative and a quick learner.
Happy working on your feet.
Computer literate (including email and internet), with good English & Maths skills and confidence handling money
Energetic, enthusiastic and motivated personality.
Flexible about working hours and able to work in our Malvern store if required.
Experience using computerised tills (EPOS systems).
A creative interest in arts and crafts, and flair for display.
You’ll be a confident, cheerful sales assistant with excellent communication skills who understands the importance of customer service and experience in modern retail. You’ll have a flexible nature and hard work ethic, plus a willingness to take part in all aspects of keeping shop. A great eye for display and detail is imperative, as is a conscientious approach to your work. As part of our team mucking in with the daily chores is essential. You must be a good communicator, a team player, energetic & willing to help with all jobs, from dusting to displays.
You will be involved with serving customers, maintaining the shop floor, doing displays and stock management, as well as looking after our online customers too.
Whilst the hours involved in this role will currently be predominantly worked Monday to Friday, you must be willing and able to work Saturdays and Sundays as this will be expected of you, and your hours could change in the future for this to become a weekly requirement.
