Mouse in a teapot Silver Charm by Nick Hubbard
This adorable little 3D silver Mouse popping his head out of a teapot charm by Nick Hubbard would make a gorgeous addition to your charm bracelet and makes the perfect gift for fans of Nick’s work. The charm is handmade from silver with oxidised detail that gives it extra depth. The charm comes on a silver jump ring which can be opened and closed with a couple of pairs of small pliers to pop it onto your charm bracelet or necklace.
This piece originates from a collection of whimsical charms made by Nick and his wife Jean in the 1980s. They share the same wit and wonder and craftsmanship of his later pieces!
About Nick Hubbard
This piece has been created by the Brick and Bean team in their studio in Staffordshire. It has been created with care and attention to detail by Nick's apprentices. Nick Hubbard, who sadly passed away in 2013, was one of Britain's most original, creative and quirky jewellers. His jewellery is amazing in its detail and intricacy; a figurative collection of oxidized silver pieces and charms bearing heartfelt and inspiring words and messages. Many lockets, brooches and rings have moving parts and small doors that open to reveal fine gold detail. Nick's work is highly collectable and once you've one piece you're sure to want many more!
